Give of yourself

So many people think that they have nothing to offer, because they cannot give monetary offerings. Well, they are so wrong. God does not want your money, He wants your time, and your heart. There are so many ways you can share your heart. Here are just a few examples: visit nursing homes-there are so many people in nursing homes that are lonely, no one ever goes to see them. volunteer at a food bank-boxing up food for the hungry will make you realize how blessed your family is. clean out your closets, and donate to a shelter. become a big sister to a girl that really needs your time, and attention. Pray about this, God will lead you to many opportunities where you can share your heart. Remember, it is not what you can gain from life, but what you can give, that is important. Bless you all.

I absolutely agree with you! There's always work you can do in the Kingdom of God!

This is so true. There is a widow at our church that takes some of the hymn books home and glues back the covers or bindings that come loose. Another lady plants flowers by the church sign. Our preacher mentioned that even the one that volunteers to wash the dishes after a church meal is doing it unto the Lord.

I agree with Grams about even just smiling at someone is a blessing to others.

How right you are. Money is only part of how we can bless others. Thanks for reminding me to be a good steward with all that God has blessed me with. xxxooogretchen
