Prayer for Virginia Tech

Dear heavenly Father, my heart aches for the students at Virginia Tech. A college is suppose to be an institution of higher learning, but these students should not have had to learn such a horrible lesson in fear, and death. Please wrap Your arms around the families and friends of those who lost their lives yesterday. Give comfort to them as they mourn, put a shield around this college community, unite them in love and prayer. I also ask that You be with the family of the young man that committed such a horrible act, help them to heal. Help us all learn from this, let us grow closer to You, and to one another. Let us extend a hand to reach lost souls, like the young man that took all of these precious lives. In Your blessed name I ask these things, I love You Lord. Amen
