Five Minute Friday-Here

I am here in my little corner of the world, and you are there in your little corner of the world. If you could change places with me, would you?  If I could change places with you, I would choose not to. Why?  Because we are where, we are meant to be. I am here in this corner of the world for a reason. I may not understand why I am here, and why I go through the things that I do, but, that is ok. God knows why I am here, He stays by my side, and carries me often. Here is where He wants me to be, so, here is where I will stay.

You are loved - there in your little corner of the world - all the way from here. You continue to show strength, and grace, and faith. "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30 (ESV) May God bless YOU extra sweetly.

I heard a beautiful saying many years ago that stayed with me. "Bloom where you are planted." I would not always have chosen where I've been planted but I can always make anyplace home by trusting God that it's where I'm meant to be. Thank you for sharing this reflection Denise.

Sometimes I think we won't know the "why" of our trials until we get to heaven. My hubby calls us "Special Forces" for God....he has an Army sense of humor.

Denise, there is such beauty in your words. Choosing to stay and be content in the hard places is . . . HARD. Your beauty shines through your picture and your words. Thanks for the inspiration!

Your post is beautiful. It reminds me of 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; to be rejoicing, praying and giving thanks in all circumstances. That is God's will for our lives!

I am new to the Five-Minute Friday group and it is wonderful to meet you. I read a few of your older posts and you have been through so much. Your faith and trust in the Lord is a strong witness to all who are around you and read your writing!

That is true! Sometimes I think I would like to change places with people. But in reality, I really wouldn't. Sure there are hard things that pass by in each of our shoes. Yet, it's all part of the journey. Those are wise words that you've shared today, Denise!

Beautifully said, dear Denise!
That is the joy of walking this walk of faith, its personal, and God has a plan and purpose for each one of us, and we can know that it is a perfect plan.
When we keep our eye's upon Him, the things we go through really do not seem so BIG, do they? He is the joy giver, no matter what we may go through. Our joy is found in Christ, and Christ alone, not our circumstances, places, things or even others as wonderful as they all are.
Christ...our Solid Rock...may we stand strong.

Much love and hugs to you my friend.
Joy! Debbie
