Tuesday Afternoon

We need to take our eyes off of ourselves, and take a closer look at others. Quit focusing on yourself, focus on the needs of others for a change. Instead of being self centered, be God centered, which in turn, will make you worldly centered. There are so many hurting people all over the world, including your next door neighbors. Wake up, and get busy, before it is too late. Start today, if you see someone in need, do not ignore them, or push them away. Instead, lift them up to new heights, by sharing the love of the Lord. Not only will it make them feel better, you will also feel much better. So, go out, and see how many frowns, you can help turn upside down today.

Wonderful words. God is in the needy and the broken hearted. When we care for these, we care for Him.

This was truly a message straight from our Heavenly Father, dear sister!
I sat outside on the front porch this morning while doing my morning devotion and prayer time, when I was directed to look toward the new neighbor's house across the road and I began to pray in earnest for the people in my neighborhood as there have been disputes especially around one man in particular, so I prayed for his heart, and his relationship with the Lord, as he has professed his faith as a Christian before, and then my prayers where directed towards two other neighbors both fighting addiction to drugs and alcohol...I know that in this season of life, the Lord has placed me here, homebound for a higher purpose, in this my infirmity...I can be used by Him!
God bless you, Denise...BTW, you look absolutely lovely and very serene!
I'm still praying for both you and Eddie. Love, In Christ~ Lisa

Hello, Denise, I am pleased to meet you. I think I might remember you from your comments on Deanna's blog? Thank you for the wise words written here, which really sank in. It takes an extra step from some one to reach out to those in need, not always easy, but a good reminder to me as 8 tend to be quite insular!
Have a good week, you have a beautiful face sweet lady.
