Dancing Through The Storms

Wow, the storms are raging wildly in my life right now. Financially, things are in a total mess. My health is quickly falling apart. I am fighting to not go blind, and to not totally lose my mobility. My diabetes is wrecking my body. My blood sugar goes up over 600, stays that way for several hours, then quickly begins to drop. Very scary!! Wednesday, my blood sugar had been over 600 all day, then it dropped to 27. I was so out of it, do not remember anything. Eddie had to tell me what happened. He thought he was going to have to call an ambulance, I kept falling asleep. He could not get it to go back up. A normal blood sugar is 70-100, mine was 27, 29, 33, 37, and finally, an hour later, it finally went to 87. Every time this happens, it wears me out. But, you know what?? No matter how severe the storms keep raging, I refuse to be swept away. No, I will forever stand upon Christ, my Solid Rock. He will not allow my feet, no matter how numb, dead, and useless they are, to slip from His precious hands. He will continue to guide me, through the dance of life. I will forever be thankful, to have Him as my dance partner.

My goodness Denise your sugar levels are falling way too low. I remember when this happened to my mother we would quick give her something with sugar to raise it. Like keeping orange juice and adding a spoonful of sugar. Ask your doctor if this would be okay for you to do. I am so sorry and I know you have to be feeling mighty sick at times.
Prayers for you and better days ahead.
Love to you and blessings for a restful and peaceful weekend.
XO

Oh my goodness dear girl; you are a scary one with those low blood sugars. Being a nurse, I can understand how precarious this all is. You are just amazing and I know that you are teaching all of us more about faith, hope and the love of the Savior because of how you just keep dancing. What a precious soul you are.
Blessings, prayers, love and hugs for you both. I know our prayers are heard and well be answered.

Bless your dear heart! I am so sorry you are going through so much. It is just heart-breaking. My dear Daddy suffered for many years with diabetes, but God was faithful to him always. You are such an inspiration, right in the midst of your own pain. God bless you, dear one!
