Doctor Appointment
Well, today I had an appointment with my endocrinologist. Dr. Kahn, she takes care of my diabetes, and thyroid. Things are not going well. Everything is totally out of control. I expected that, due to my digestive problems. She did a lot of blood work, will get those results next week. My blood sugar was 562!! Normal is between 70-120, no higher than 140. My feet and legs are totally numb, nerve damage is severe. But, I am ready to dance with my little man at the wedding on Saturday. Prayers would be very much appreciated. I love you all dearly. Here is a little poem I wrote today after getting home from the Doctor. They say my feet are dead, that my dancing days are over. They told me to put my dancing shoes away, find another way to spend my day. But, I say, no way. There is a wedding on Saturday, and a dancing partner awaits my arrival. Hand in hand, we will glide across the floor. The speed of the dance does not matter, fast or slow, bring it on. What matters, is my beating heart, as me, and my precious dance partner, dance the night away. As the song says, I could miss the pain, but, I would have to miss the dance. Our lives are better left to chance. I choose to dance on with my little man.

Hi Denise! So glad that you were seeing the doctor, and they could catch your 'out of whack' numbers.
Enjoy tomorrow, and be sure to take good care of yourself!
Peace,
Ceil
I have diabetes so I sort of know what you are saying. Anyway there are many ways to dance my friend. Do you have a wheel chair where he could push you? A cane? YOU WILL DANCE AT THE WEDDING>
562!
Have a wonderful time at the wedding today, Denise!
Blessings!
Pam
