FMF-Beautiful

1 Samuel 16:7

The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
Praise God, I am so very thankful that the Lord looks at the heart, the inner person, not the outward person. If He judged me, as the world so often does, I would be in major trouble.  I have no hair, hardly no eyebrows, have a constant battle with my weight, which is usually on the upper end of the scale. Beautiful, I will never be, not even pretty, or cute. But, that is ok. I am still royalty. I am a daughter of the King, so that makes me a princess. I may not ever attend a ball, or fit into a glass slipper. I have something even better to look forward to, heaven. Talk about beautiful, heaven is beyond beautiful. Praying that you also have heaven to look forward to.

Wonderful how God sees us, even when we do not see ourselves as well. You are a Princess and you are beautiful to many of us. Hugs and God bless you my dear.

Hey there... we are neighbors tonight over at Lisa Jo's! I love this scripture! It was one of the first times that it dawned on me that I had some serious work to do! I spent much of my growing up years 'looking good' and trying to appear Beautiful - paying little to no attention to what was on the inside! This scripture helped me to see the importance of that... and opened the door for Him to work with me in making all things new - and beautiful! Blessings! ~K~

Dear Denise
The saying goes that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder and your Beloved beholds you as are rare, beautiful and unique flower in His garden!

What beautiful truth you had mentioned: something that has far more worth for us to wait for awaits:
HEAVEN...Knowing that it is His place.

Inner beauty...That is where true beauty lies. I know you are beautiful inside and out.

Yes, daughter of the King, you are, we are, my sister. I went in the same direction, the same heart-tug as you did this morning. The truth is a powerful pull, isn't it!

We long for heaven because we yearn for perfection...only there will our longing be satisfied.

Even the most physically beautiful will fade as time on this earth goes by...it is a disappearing vapor...a mirage in the desert.

When people look at us they can see Jesus when we have love in our hearts, and that kind of beuty never fades as long as we stay in perfect love with the Lord...I see Jesus when I see you!
You are loved.

I think you are beautiful, Denise. People have standards of beauty that don't come near what God says about it, and He's the true judge.

You love Him, you crave His presence in Your life, and you are a faithful daughter of the King. That's true beauty!

YES!

I continue to try to remind myself what the Word of God says about me...

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I am God's masterpiece.
I am a living temple.
I am a child of the Almighty God.
I am a delight to the Lord.
I am loved.

Yes, beautiful indeed. With an eternity ahead of me that promises untarnished beauty, and a place free from the ugliness of sin.

GOD BLESS!
