Doctor appointment

Well, this afternoon was my appointment with my stomach doctor.  I have diabetic enteropathy, also known as stomach paralysis. This is also severe nerve damage in my stomach from my diabetes. My stomach empties too slowly, or at times, does not empty at all. This problem is causing all of my symptoms:  nausea, stomach cramps, feeling of fullness(even when I have only eaten a small amount , or no food), bloating, aweful taste in my mouth, blood sugars way out of control, vomiting, tiredness. It is at the point, where my body cannot tolerate solid food anymore. From now on, everything I take in has to be liquid. Thinned down pureed foods, and liquids. I have to keep a close watch on my blood sugars, and my weight. I constantly have either diaherria, or constipation, and recently my stools have been green. This problem is affecting my liver, my doctor wants to see me back in one month. My appointment is on August 5th. Keep me in your prayers please, you are in mine. I love you all.

Well I am sorry. I will be praying. I hate this for you. It is going to be hard I know. It sounds scary because I am diabetic too. How long have you had diabetes? Type 1 or 2. Can you cure or fix it? sandie

You're in my prayers, Denise. I am sorry these things are happening to you. Diabetes is a mean disease. :(

My husband, as you know, has diabetes, too. We read a book a couple of years ago by Dr. Gabriel Cousins about how there is a cure for diabetes. It was a very interesting book. As long as we were faithful to a raw food diet, both my health and David's health improved. We've backslidden as far as diet goes and he's having the problems again, but the lesson that we've learned is that the raw food diet is best for us. Maybe it is something for you to consider, too. Please feel free to e-mail me if you want to know what I'm going on about. I can give you more details about what we did.

I am praying for Heavenly Father to completely heal you and for you to have a long and happy life here on this earth. {{{Hugs}}}

Oh Shorty Bear this is not good news at all. Maybe perhaps you can go from liquid foods to softer foods like mashed potatoes or scrambled eggs.
Hoping so much that this will get better!

I am glad to hear that they finally found what was wrong, though I am sorry it means you will have to limit your food intake this way...But, it sounds like a step in the right direction in getting to feel stronger, and not to have such awful symptoms anymore!
I will pray that you are able to adjust to this new diet, and will be feeling better very soon...I love you too, my friend.

Oh my goodness...I am glad it is not cancer...but what a challenge you have. Get a good juicer . There are so many good and tasty liquid food recipes available. Stay strong. Keeping you in my prayers.
