Five Minute Friday- Imagine

Imagine a world, where there is no pain, only gain. Imagine a world, where you are never alone, always surrounded by love, that fits snugly like a glove.  Where words are used to build you up, instead of knock you down. Where you are free to be who you are, instead of who others want you to be. Where peace is all around us, instead of pieces of broken lives, dreams, and hearts. Wake up people, quit thinking of the way the world could be a better place if only...................... Get busy making the if onlys, a reality. The clock is ticking!!

Yes, this, exactly. I spent so much of my life being torn down by the hatefulness that spewed from my adoptive mom. I never felt I could be whom I wanted to be because I never felt good enough. I finally let go and let God have his way, and now, I don't think "if only." I went through hell for so long, part of it by my own doing (living in the past instead of the now), but He has blessed me beyond all measure. I no longer imagine what if; I live it!

Great words! If we all did our part, this world would be a better place. Hugs. xx

Let it begin with me. We are the only ones that can make the choices to make our little worlds a better place- one person at a time.
Hope you are feeling better. <> Lisa :O)

Hi Denise! I so agree! As Believers, we're suppose to be the salt of the earth and the impact makers! We are to be the leading examples! Thanks for sharing my friend...have a lovely week!

When I imagine a world like that, I think of the future God has promised me.

In the meantime, YES! Let's do what we can to make this world better. And let's glory in the Lord - who erases our pain, who never leaves us alone, who surrounds us with continual love, who builds us up, and accepts us for who we are.

He is peace.

GOD BLESS!

(How'd the x-rays go on Friday??)

Beautiful thoughts here, and I love the heroic Aslan lion and the words Jesus is my defender. So true.

I concur and I have for a long time now been creating a different world. I forgave my mom last week. She's been dead 12 years. It only took me 30 odd years to do and I feel free.

In Buddhism, we view the world as a place of illusion. See through the illusion that we create for ourselves and we can create a newer, better illusion for our lives. Everything is temporary, after all.
