Five Minute Friday-Brave

She puts on a brave smile, for the world to see. When all the while, it takes every bit of strength she has, just to be. Another day, what will she say? I am fine, no worries here. But, it is perfectly clear, worries abound in her life. She strives to stay alive, yet she wonders, when He will arrive, to take her away. Until that day, here she will stay,. Bravely putting one foot, in front of the other.

As I read this post - my heart went out to you, although I am dealing with whole other set of problems, I can so relate to how you are feeling. You have been such a blessing to me, I wish there was something I could do to help you feel better. Not only have you been an encouragement to me but you have also helped me realize the importance of us as Christians to be encouragers of others along our journey through this life. I will be praying for you today that God will comfort you and will heal you, Love you sweet lady, Lisa :O)

Your words remind me that being brave is not about faking it, but about knowing WHO to take our worries to! Thanks, Denise!

Beautiful! I listened to your video. So nice to hear your voice and see your face. Didin't realize you were in Chattanooga. For some reason I had Florida in my mind. Thanks so much for being a constant encourager.

Dear Denise
Come to think of it, dear friend; it is all we can do. Just putting the one foot in front of the other while trusting our Pappa God's grace.

Denise - That was just so where I have been and find myself sometimes. You have it right, one foot in front of the other, one day at a time. I pray for Gods grace in sufficiency for each of those steps. You are brave.
Hugs,
Kelly

I have witnesses this same bravery in many loved ones who also had to fight just to make it through each day (many with cancers, a mom that had mini strokes..etc.). It's very tough and yet you choose to be a light to the world. That is fabulous!

We have all done this from time to time. I read somewhere that sometimes a leap of faith is the only mode of transport available. Indeed, it is.
