I had the angel picture over my bed as a child.Grandma always had a lighted picture of jesus we could see as we fell asleep. Both always made me feel safe as a child. Blessings! -Amy

Hi Denise,
Interesting little details you share. Oh to be 30 again and think it is old. LoL
Somehow I missed your post below on the loss of your friend. I am so sorry and will lift prayers for God's comfort in the days ahead.
I hope your Friday test goes well.
Hugs , Celestina Marie

I, too, had the picture of the guardian angel in my room when I was young...my mom gave it to me when I had kids of my own...now a picture of Jesus as the Good Shepherd that was my grandmother's is on the wall of my grandkids' bedroom...

My oldest son still remembers crying when his dad turned 30...he thought he was soooo old!

Loved reading more about you, Denise.

I especially enjoyed remembering some things about my grandparents' house. They lived in more than one, but the one I remember the most is the one that my grandfather built. Oh, how those good memories are etched in my heart...

GOD BLESS!

haha very interesting, I think I thought 35 was old for some strange reason. I'm not sure why that number. And I always remember this big cuckoo clock in my grandparents house and a painting with a older man bowing his head to pray before dinner. Those things make me feel like I'm a kid again just thinking about them. :)

I never could, still can't, understand the fear of age. I can remember a lot people thinking they were over-the-hill at 30 yrs old. Last week I over-heard two women talking about being "old". I asked them how old they were. One answered "49". I responded with something like "you're not old". And you hear people say all the time they "feel old". How do they know what old feels like? They're not old! LOL
