Five Minute Friday-Jump
As I laid in intensive care, not knowing what the future held, I was secure in knowing who was holding my future. God, as always. I could not walk when I left my apartment on labor day 2011, having a stroke can do that to you. The day the physical therapist came into intensive care to get me, I was more scared than I had ever been in my life. I had been lying there fighting for my life for nearly two weeks. Blood pressure totally out of control, brain swelling, hooked up to several different machines. She walked up beside my bed, and said, Mrs. Oldham, are you ready to try to walk back into your life?? I took a great big gulp of Jesus juice, and jumped straight out of that bed, and began the journey back to walking into my life!! The journey continues today, still jumping for joy everyday here in my life.
