You were the one standing there, after I became a cutter when my momma died. You were the one standing there, after I lost all of my hair. You were the one standing there, when I weighed 258 pounds, and after I became anorexic, and weighed 98 pounds. You were the one standing there, after I fell to the floor in a diabetic seizure. You were the one standing there, after 16 years of trying to be parents, and finally realizing, our dream was never going to become a reality. You were the one standing there, after I had my stroke, and I could not stand, or walk. You were the one standing there, by my bed, day after day, for 11 days in intensive care, holding tightly to my hand. You were the one standing there, day after day for 11 days, encouraging me, as I learned to walk again in the rehab hospital. Yes, Eddie, after 28 years of marriage, you are still the one, the only one.
