Marriage Challenge- Day 7- Pursue

,DAY 7 CHALLENGE: PURSUE Christ with your whole heart
Your challenge for today, is simply to ask God to give you an unquenchable thirst, for a relationship with Him, an insatiable hunger for His Word,
and the spiritual clarity, to know when He enters the rooms of your heart. Spend some time on your knees with Him, pursuing Him, and seeking guidance, and blessing on your marriage, and every area of your life.
1 Peter 3:12a “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayers…”       Dear Heavenly Father, Search my heart, see if there is anything that I might be doing to hurt my husband, or my marriage. If there is, please forgive me, and help me to correct my errors. I know that I am far from perfect, and I do not expect, or desire perfection from my husband. There are no perfect marriages, no not one. All I desire with every beat of my heart, is a marriage built upon love, and trust. I have faith in my husband, and our marriage. I pray that the two of us will remain totally committed to You, and our marriage, till death do us part. I love You Father. Amen

Powerful prayer sis that prays for someone starting with yourself. It's so easy to see and blame our spouses when we sometimes don't see our own faults. I believe also that by drawing nearer to the Lord He alone knows our hearts the best and He sees what's inside. Most of the time, the change does need to come from within...and Whose help we need but always His. Amen...

There's no doubt my marriage would have imploded long ago were it not for the Lord's sustaining power. Now, after nearly 47 years, I am sooooo grateful for His having woven such rich joy into the fabric of our united hearts.

Blessings,
Kathleen
