Through It All
I've had many tears and sorrows
I've had questions for tomorrow
There've been times I didn't know right from wrong
But in every situation
God gave blessed consolation
That my trials only come to make me strong
I've been a lot of places
And I've seen so many faces
But there've been times I've felt so all alone
But in that lonely hour
In that precious, lonely hour
Jesus let me know I was His own
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to trust in Jesus
I've learned to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to depend upon His Word
So I thank God for the mountains
And I thank Him for the valleys
I thank Him for the storms He's brought me through
Cause if I never had a problem
I wouldn't know that He could solve them
I wouldn't know what faith in His Word could do
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to trust in Jesus
I've learned to trust in God
Through it all
Through it all
I've learned to depend upon His Word
Yes, I've learned to depend upon His Word
I've learned to depend upon His Word
I love this song by Selah. It truly touches me deeply, grips my heart tightly. I sing it at the top of my lungs, but, cannot ever finish it. The reason being, I break down in a huge pile of gut wrenching tears. I become a ball of mush, laying in my own tears. When I had my stroke, and was laying in intensive care for those 11 days, this song constantly played in my head. When I was in rehab for 11 days, learning to walk again, this song was in my head, in my heart, and upon my lips. My favorite verse-So, I thank God for the mountains, and I thank Him for the valleys, I thank Him for the storms He's brought me through. Cause if I never had a problem, I wouldn't know that He could solve them. I wouldn't know what faith in His Word could do. Never can get through that verse!! Father God, I am here, lifting my hands up in praise to You. I love You. I love You.

Beautiful words to encourage you, and all of us.
What a Bequtiful old hymn. Thank you for your sweet testimony that God has brought you through it all. He's done the same for me. Brought me through it all.
How beautiful!
It's really hard not to choke up singing anointed songs...His love is truly unfathomable that no notes can express... The lyrics of that song is beautiful and how true...if not for trials we will always feel sufficient on our own when the truth is we are limited and nothing without Him...Love to you sis and may you have a wonderful rest...in His arms...Joy does come after weeping in the night...
I love it too, my dear Denise, and you! Bless you...have a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs,
Anne

Selah does do this song so beautifully. I too love it! I'm so glad that the words guard you when you are in the midst of it all! Sing Denise, sing!
You keep thanking Him and giving Him praise until you see His SON rise up within you, strengthening you and healing you! May the words that are your favorite encourage and lift you up, building you and your inner person to walk through the valleys, the storms and to the mountains through it all in His peace!
Father, hear the words of this precious sister in Christ and attend unto her deepest needs and meet her through it all in Jesus name and the power of the Holy Spirit!
