I sense that all is Your creation,
and everything, and all of us,
are being drawn back toward Your loving heart.
Help me to be a person of peace,
to speak about it in an uneasy world,
and to live it among the people,
You have put into my life every day.
to stand in the darkness, waiting, eager, and filled with joy.

'Light of the world' - shine your light in me today. In a country clouded by darkness, let my light as small as it is shine out against corruption today. As we prepare to celebrate your coming into this world - may your Holy Spirit convict the hearts of those who know of you and refuse to live in that light. Let your Kingdom come. Amen.
