Day 25-Praying For My Husband

“He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?” - Micah 6:8 (NASB)

There are many things we think the Lord desires for us. This verse gives us three simple things God requires of every man. If a man will walk in these three things, everything else will fall into place.

  • Do justice. We are to give what is due. We don’t try and shortchange anyone, or give them less then they deserve. We give God what He deserves and others what they deserve.
  • Love kindness. Another word for kindness is mercy. Loving mercy is not giving people what people deserve. A man who loves kindness easily forgives, and is ready to release grace in every situation.
  • Walk humbly with God. There is only one way to walk with God, and this is in humility. Humility understands that God is the source of my blessing. God places a premium on humility. He is ready to bless the man who humbles himself before Him.

As you pray for eddie today, pray that these three character qualities grow in his life. Pray that he will always be ready to release grace to those around him. Ask the Lord to help him to be just in his dealings with others. Finally, pray that he walks humbly with God.

Father I pray that you will so work in eddie's life that these three qualities will become a natural part of his life. I pray that he will do justice, and the he will love showing mercy to those around him. I pray that he will humbly walk before you every day of his life. Father, as he walks in humility before you, I pray you will lift him up.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

eddie I was reminded today that God requires three things from every man. I am praying that these three qualities become a natural part of your life. I am praying that you do justice. I pray that you never try and cheat or shortcut someone, but you will always give what someone is due. I am praying that showing mercy and grace to others will become part of your lifestyle. Finally, I am praying that you walk in humility before God. love, denise
