Day 22-Praying For My Husband

Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. - Ephesians 6:13 (NASB)


Although we can’t see it, every morning we wake up in a battlefield. There are forces bent on our destruction. Satan and his dark forces have your husband in their sights. The Bible says that Satan is like a roaring lion just looking for whom he can destroy. The book of Revelation calls Him the “Great Deceiver.” Today Satan has made a custom plan for your husband’s destruction.

The good news is that God has given him spiritual armor that gives him power to not only stand against Satan’s attack, but to live in victory over him. However, to be successful, he must put on that armor every day.

If you knew your husband was going off to war today, you would pray for his safety, protection and victory. Today let’s pray these things over him in the spiritual realm.



Father, keep eddie close to You today. Protect him with Your armor. Let him remember that he is in a spiritual battle every moment of the day. Help him to hear only Your word today. Keep him mindful of the lies that Satan whispers in his ear. Strengthen him with Your might and power. Today I claim spiritual victory for my husband.

eddie, today you are in a spiritual battle. Satan is going to try and trick you up, deceive you into believing a lie with hopes of taking you down. I am praying for you, that you will put on the full armor of God. I am praying that you will trust in His strength and His might. I am praying that you will stay close to the Father and stand firm against the attack of Satan. As you go through your day, know that I am praying for your protection and strength to stand against Satan’s attack. love, denise
