On Your Heart Tuesday

This past May, it had been four years since my big brother passed away from diabetes. Today, would be his birthday. He is very much on my heart, and in my thoughts. Happy Birthday Charles!! I cannot believe you would be 60 today, you never looked your age, and you certainly did not act your age, lol I miss you more than my words could ever express. You left this world way too soon, but God had plans for you. Memories of you are forever written on my heart. I was truly blessed to have you as my big brother. You were much more than just my brother. You were also my friend, and my hero. Whenever I needed you, you were there. I remember when you worked at that grocery store when you were a teenager, I was about five years old. I would wait up for you every night, and you would bring me my favorite candy bar every night. I loved that candy bar, but, I loved your hugs that you gave me every night much better. When Eddie and I got married, we were always having car problems. Bless his heart, Eddie knows nothing about cars. I could call you anytime, day, or night, and you would come rescue us. I know, there were times you got out of bed, to come fix our car. Thank you for caring enough to help me, regardless. The way you lived your life, and loved your family, left precious heart prints on so many people. So much has happened since you left us. Your beautiful daughter, now has a wonderful son, his name is Zachary. We call him little man, he is almost three years old. I love him with all of my heart, he is one of my heart beats. He reminds me so much of you, in his smile, and his actions. You would be so proud of him. My life has had alot of rough spots since you have been gone. I had a stroke last year, can you believe that?? Oh, how I wish you had been here to talk to , and give me those awesome hugs. I love you Charles, always have, and forever will. You will never be forgotten. Enjoy your birthday, and please keep me in your prayers. You and Momma, are the greatest guardian angels ever. Sending you great big hugs, and kisses, remember to share them with Momma.

This was truly a heartfelt post for me. I lost my oldest brother two years ago and I miss him so much. He sounds just like your brother. Yes, I too believe that my parents and brother are near by watching over us. Love and hugs to you for this sweet post.
Blessings!
