Five Minute Friday/Stretch

Stretch--------------------, how far have you stretched lately? Better question, how far are you willing to stretch? Do you feel imposed upon, if someone ask you to stretch yourself, to go the extra mile for something, or someone?Well, if that is the case, you truly need to get over yourself. My friend, think about Jesus, and everything He has done, and continues to do for you. Talk about stretching, He has stretched His self to the max , and beyond!!Did He, or does He, ever complain about it? No, never. Consider this, the next time you feel imposed upon, Jesus hung upon that cruel cross, arms totally stretched out wide, why?? Because He loved you that much!! Hm, wonder if He felt imposed upon??

So glad you joined in this week. Although it can be painful at times, it is so good that the Lord stretches us. We need to cooperate. :)

Blessings and love,
Debbie

With God's graciousness and blessings in my life, I would allow myself to be stretched especially when someone I know needs me.

Happy weekend and God bless!

Bless you Denise...

I had a difficult time choosing which post from this week I would leave my only comment... but I so appreciate how you encourage and challenge us with this 5 minute STRETCH!

However, I am so glad that you had a wonderful time with your little man
(you're so creative and imaginative in your play time with him)! I know your brother is so happy that you're spending time with his grandson (right?) and sorry I missed his bday but that was a beautiful tribute to your wonderful relationship and love for him. I'm even more saddened that you have not been well even though we all are praying and believing, I know your soul is ever so well and your sweet guardian angles watch and keep you
surrounded with God's love and hope! Keep looking up and at those outstretched arms! He and I love you so much!

Thank you for the STRETCH!... maybe I need to do more exercises with this stretch in mind to keep me in better health too spiritually and physically! Building my faith and bones with strength from His Word!

(((hugs))) and many blessings and prayers as always, love you MORE!!!

Amen! We have to get over ourselves and stretch those arms wide. This is what Jesus would want us to do. And, we know He will give us the strength to stretch. I loved this post! ~Cynthia

Thanks for dropping by A Better Way from FMF - sorry to be late but your comment went into spam.

Great outlook on stretching - and yes there are sometimes I say "no" when "yes" would have been the better answer.

Blessings
