Five Minute Friday/Change

My life was changed, the moment I had a stroke. My life was basically rearranged. Damage was done, but yet, I did not come undone. For you see, my Father is the ultimate artist. He took all of the broken, and shattered pieces, and began to create. I am thankful to be the clay in the Potters hands, and will gladly yield, and stay still, as He molds me, and makes me, into the woman, I am meant to be now.

Your post spoke to me. My dad had a stroke 3 months ago. His left side is still paralyzed and he is still bed-ridden. I can't even imagine life changing that drastically and having to retrain our bodies how to do everything it used to do. May God continue to heal you.

Denise -

I saw your comment on my blog and came to visit yours. And, can I just say, what an inspiration you are! "Damage was done, but I did not come undone." I just love that.

Praise God that He makes all things new. He will, as it says in Joel, "restore to you the years the locusts have eaten." Praying for you.

and God will. I trust (most of the time) Jeremiah 29. He wants to prosper us not harm us. Thank you for sharing and for visiting my space. hugs!

I love the song that says "Melt me, mold me, fill me, use me, Spirit of the Living God, fall fresh on me". That is exactly what your post reminded me of! Thank you and may you continue to live in His strength!

Thanks for the stop-over.

I have suffered a mild stroke too and submitted myself to rehab and is now back to mobility. Yet it changed me inside and physically too. God is good to me and He has been sustaining me too.

God bless you and thank you for your encouragement.

I find that a beautiful decleration in the midst of your journey. I read a few more posts where you share your struggles. I like it that even though you have your obvious struggles, and who hasn't!, you consider yourself not "undone."
May his healing power continue to fill your body, soul and spirit confident He will have his way!
