Easter With The Family

Happy Monday everyone, praying you all had a wonderfully blessed Easter. I know I did. Eddie and I spent the day with my sister in-love Cheryle, my niece Kelli,  and her husband John, and of course, their son, my great nephew little man(Zach). His cousin Ansley, and her mom, Heather, and our sweet friends, Amy and Cody, and their two sons, Owen, and Sawyer. Owen, and little man are best friends. Cheryle cooked a delicious meal for us, it was yummy in my tummy. After we ate, we hid eggs for the kids, and then let them have an egg hunt. I did not cheat, well maybe a little bit. Over here little man, over here, look there is another egg!! lol It was so much fun. After Amy, and her family left, Eddie and I gave little man, and Ansley the baskets we had bought for them. They both liked their baskets, woo hoo. Little man kept saying, "Batman aunt nesie, batman". He loves batman, and I bought him quite a bit of batman stuff. Little man and I colored, marched around the woods in his grandma's backyard, played with sticks, and ran around the house. "March aunt nesie, march". I love my little man beyond measure, enjoyed my day totally!!

It is good to enjoy Easter with family. We spend the afternoon with our daughter and her husband. Their daughter was with her boy friend and their family this easter. Last week, we saw a goodly number of our family who showed up for my mothers funeral. It was a celebration of her life and many stood to say good words over her. There is an empty spot but God is filling that with his love and peace.

I'm sorry I missed this one yesterday. Sounds like you all had lots of fun. My OD came home Friday and left at 4:30 Sunday to go back to Virginia Beach. Our grandson is in his first year of college at Regent where my OD works. She had promised to take him out to lunch since he did not get to come home. Both my girls and son-in-law, granddaughter and my dh's niece's family came over on Saturday for dinner. Our niece helped us so much last weekend when dh was in the hospital I wanted to do something special for her birthday which was the 3rd so they come also, she, her husband, and daughter/granddaughter (they have raise her since she was born.

Sunday dh's youngest brother and his wife came early to visit dh then we met two other brothers and their wives and all went out to eat. It was a busy day but a joyfull one. Our yd invited us to her mother-on-laws but since the others were coming we didn't get to see them.

I'm so glad you had such a wonderful day, you deserved that.

I missed your video on Friday. I've gotten so use to it. I love hearing your voice and your singing.

Have you heard from Peggy?

God bless, AE
