Is That All You Got??

This is one of those mornings, that I am reminded, that I had a stroke almost seven months ago. Feeling rough, was really hard to get up out of bed, and I mean that literally. My feet, and legs hurt so badly, moving extra slowly this morning. Lovebug had to work today, so he is not here. I am doing a couple loads of laundry, and I need to write out a grocery list. By the time the laundry is done, folded, and put away, and grocery list is written out, I will probably be ready for a little nap. On days like this, I get tired so easily. When Lovebug gets home, we are going to go pick up little man, and go to the park for awhile. After we take him home, we are going grocery shopping. My day will be a full one, but I am looking forward to it. I know satan loves days like this, when I really feel the affects from my stroke. He attacks me, and wants to bring me down to a very low point. Ruin my day, that makes him smile, and feel like a winner. But, he is such a loser, and an idiot. I refuse to let him ruin my day, or take away my smile. I may get knocked down on days like this, but, I always get back up. I look at satan, and say"Is that all you got?? Really?? Is that all?? What a wimp!! It will take much, much more than that, to keep this God filled woman down. Not because of my strength, but because of God's strength, being poured into me daily. Bring it on satan, you will lose every time. Ring the bell, ding, ding!! Round one, goes to team God, and so will all other rounds. Woo Hoo!! Fight on my friends, God will give you the victory.

I love hearing and seeing the strength you have because I know it is a wonderful testimony of what He's doing in your life sister. That in itself, encourages me to keep pressing on. I pray for His protection to surround you and His strength to be yours. Today. Like what you said, we have enough for today. Love to you.

Hope and pray you are feeling better and will get to do all the things you've planned especially the time with "batman".

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...we are winners!! Victorious! My mom has been having a rough few days also...6 months for her since her stroke...her eyes are really bothering her once again. Nothing to do with the stroke but it doesn't help having this on top of the stroke...she's been resting a lot more these last few days also...but she is still looking at all the good all around her and that she is going to keep on getting stronger. Love ya girl

Nothing short of inspirational, Denise! This morning in church the message was about the VICTORY that we have in Jesus. I can almost imagine His swollen and beat up face on the cross looking at Satan and saying, "Is this all you've got?"

What a victory was won for us on that Easter morning!

I need to claim it more often for myself - because the enemy comes up against me so powerfully sometimes.

Joining you in the good fight, sister - in a battle that was won in an empty tomb...

GOD BLESS!
