I Am Home

Praise God from whom all my blessings flow, and believe me, they continue to flow. Well, my adventure began on September 5, which was the Saturday before Labor Day. I was feeling really sick, nauseous, throwing up, and had a very bad headache. Lovebug and I were laying down, I needed to go to the bathroom. When I tried to get up out of the bed, I could not walk, Lovebug had to carry me to the bathroom. He called an ambulance, and they took me to the hospital.  They ran several tests on me, including a cat scan. The Doctor came into my room, and said that the cat scan showed a possible brain tumor.  They transported me by ambulance to another better equipped hospital. They ran another cat scan on me, and a MRI. They then told us that I had been having mini strokes, possibly four. That day, I had a full blown stroke in the back of my brain. It affected my balance, vision, appetite, and was the reason for all of the headaches.  I was in surgical intensive care for ten days, then they moved me to a rehab hospital for ten days. I had to have physical, and occupational therapy. I am learning to walk again. My body wants to lean to the left. I got to come home Saturday, I have missed my Lovebug so much. He is so good to me, helps me with everything. God is so awesome, I give Him all the praise. He saved my life. I thank all of you for your precious prayers, and love. Please continue to pray for Lovebug, he is so stressed, as you can imagine. I very much need your continued prayers. I have a blocked artery in the back of my brain, right where I had my stroke. It is 100 blocked, because of where it is located, they cannot operate. The Doctor said all they can do is give me medicine, and pray that I do not have another stroke. God is in total control here, as always. He is carrying me, and giving me His strength.  I am safe in His healing hands. I have really missed all of you, pray you are all doing well.  Please take care, and be happy. I love you all.

I saw that you were online. I also have Yahoo Messenger and it lets me know when people are on line even from the Windows Live. I sent you an IM but I forgot you are on Windows Live.

I've read your story and am just thanking my Father for taking such good care of you. Will continue to pray that the blockage will go away. I have an artery on my left side that has a blockage but the doctor said it was not the main artery and that God was good to us and gave us one just like it on the other side and if the left became totally blocked he would not do anything because the other artery was enough. We are fearfully and wonderfully made by our Heavenly Father.

May God continue to bless you and heal you completely in the name of Jesus.

I know your husband is so glad to have you back home.

Blessings, AE

Thank God you're OK. I know you've got a road of recovery ahead of you, but I'm so very grateful your stroke wasn't more robust.

You've certainly had a year of climbing steep slopes, dear sister. I pray your health continue to improve, even as I stand with all the others here in praying for you.

Hugs,
Kathleen

ohhhh my precious Denise... how good to hear from you, that you are able to communicate with us and that you are well enough to be home with your dear Lovebug! I just hope that you are well enough to be home with no more episodes. Love your positive blessed attitude of PRAISE in the midst of your tremendous burden. I'm so glad that they were able to pinpoint perhaps the cause of much. Even your vision problems a while back. I will continue to pray and press the gates of heaven for your BIG MIRACLE, restoration of your balance, vision, appetite (still?), and headaches. The rehab must have been good for you but Your Great Physician has a complete one to do just as intensely. May He continue to hold both of you and relieve the stress so you can be blest! We are praying for that blocked artery to open by His hands. You are so treasured and missed! It's good to see that so many are praying and concerned!
I hope that they continue to pray and you stay well or improving to complete wellness and wholeness asap. I love you so much! This is a beautiful "I am home" and waiting for more good reports!

Love, hugs and a shortybear dance!!
Peggy
