This One Day

May we deal with this day as it unfolds, without fretting about what will come tomorrow. These minutes and hours right now, require our total attention, and our full focus on God. Let us look to Him for the strength, and the hope we need this instant.

The old adage is sound advice: take life one day at a time. It might even be better to revise our thinking, so that we take things one minute, or one hour at a time. God never intended for us to live in the present, and the future at the same time. Sometimes, we even add the past to our present, and then wonder why we feel helplessly lost.

God tells us how to live, and He repeats the message:

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?”

“Who of you by worrying, can add a single hour to his life?”

“Then Jesus said to His disciples: ‘Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.’”

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

“Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”

In short, God says “Trust Me to take care of you.” We put our faith into practice, when we release our life into His hands. We have nothing to lose, and everything to gain. We start, by giving Him this one day. Tomorrow, and the next day, we can do the same thing – until we trust Him, without even thinking about our situation.

I love you so very much my dear dear sister. My prayers continue to go up for you and your lovebug. You are truly so precious to me.

I have been away from the computer this week but I continue to pray for you and so many. I just went through a read your last few postings that I have missed.

I am always standing beside you with my heart wrapped around you and I continue to pray for the Lord's divine intervention never doubting his almighty capability of performing miracles. I pray that the pain in your eyes leave this night and that your site be fully restored in the precious name of JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Again, I love you so much.

Big hugs,
Alleluiabelle

We were not designed to live in both the present and the future. God is in control of the future. Truer words were never spoken. Love you, Denise! *hugs*
