In Other Words Tuesday

“The spirit of complaint is born out of an unwillingness to trust God with today. Like the Israelites, it means you are spending your time looking back toward Egypt, or wishing for the future, all the while missing what God is doing right now.”
From: One in a Million by Priscilla Shirer: Debbie chose a wonderful quote to share with us today. One, that is unfortunately true with so many of us. We choose to look back upon our past, or toward the future, skipping over today. There is a reason today is called the present, it is a gift that we are daily given. I praise God for each day I am blessed with, and no matter what the day holds, I trust Him with holding it for me. The experience I am dealing with concerning my vision, can really make you appreciate everyday. I wake up, wanting to see everything I can, all day long. The pain in my eyes can be so bad, but I know there is a reason. At least, I can still see, and that blesses my heart. We are going through some very troubling times right now financially, lovebug's work has really slowed down. The bills are piling up, and lovebug is very stressed out over them. He is fearful for our future, will we lose everything we have? I try to reassure him constantly, and remind him of how God has always been there for us, and brought us through. Sometimes, by looking back at your past, you can find hope for today. You see where you were, and how God carried you into today, and will lead you into tomorrow, and beyond. You must believe, and by believing, you will receive. Thank You for being in my today, and giving me faith for all my tomorrows sweet Saviour.

I rarely let myself get on facebook anymore let alone leisurely stroll through blogs but today I hesitantly ventured onto my facebook page and Melanie's update caught my eye. It had a blog page in it and I took a look which eventually led me to here. Your page popped up and the words from today's blog tore through my heart. I would have sworn it was a message being sent just for me. Sometimes the obvious and simple things like living in and being grateful for the moment get lost in the chaos. Thank you for taking the time to write and share it!

Denise, you are learning to trust God with this moment. You are an inspiration to many as you go through your struggles. But you trust God no matter what. Thank you for participating with us today.

Love you,
Debbie

God just gives us one day at a time to trust Him for that moment. You have been a great source of inspiration to me. May God bless you today in a special way.

Bless you Denise!

I so loved this, it inspired me to try In Other Words!!! You show His strength in your positive outlook and your faith is shining! So we're standing together for the provision for those medical bills and you both to rest assured in God! Love the message you wrote from your beautiful heart to ours! You trust well. I'm so thankful that God is so faithful and true to His Word!
Thank you for standing and showing us how to trust!

Love you,
Peggy

"The world didn't give it to me, and the world can't take it away!" When I am tempted to worry about the loss of "things", I remember the words of this Gaither(?) song. I can't remember all of the words--mainly these.

As I write, I am praying for you and your lovebug. Fear not! Only believe. All things ARE possible.
