Thankful Thursday

Hello everyone, praying you are all doing well. Asking God to sweetly bless you all. Well, step one of my journey is complete. The nurse from the eye specialist office, called me on Wednesday with the results of my MRI. All it showed, was that I definitely have what the specialist said, optical neuropathy. I also have retinaopathy, vision field defects, and several other defects with my eyes. Now, today, comes step two of my journey. I have to go over to the eye specialist at 1:30, they will be drawing blood for a optical neuropathy lab workup. I have an appointment with the eye specialist on Tuesday, at that appointment, they will be doing eye scans, and I am not sure what else they will be doing. I am just taking this one step at a time, doing whatever they tell me needs to be done. Here is what I know so far my sweet friends. Dr. Abrams, the eye specialist, has already confirmed that I have optical neuropathy with swelling in both eyes. Now, what he is doing with all of these steps, is trying to find out what caused the optical neuropathy. There are several diseases that can cause this problem. At the end of my journey, if Dr. Abrams finds that a disease caused my problem, then he will do whatever the disease calls for. If at the end of my journey, there is no disease found, that will mean, basically, that the optical neuropathy just happened, probably from my diabetes. But, the big thing here is, blindness. Optical neuropathy causes blindness, and there is no time limit. Meaning, it can happen in a week, month, few months, year, etc. I am not afraid, God is here. He has not left my side for a minute, and He is in this for the long haul. He is the reason I am able to walk this journey, and not stumble. He is my eternal vision, and I will carry on. I believe in miracles, and the power of prayer. I will continue to believe, and I will continue to receive daily care from my true physician, and my healer. Take care, I love you all.

Hi -

Thanks for visiting my blog.

I'm sorry to hear about your eye problems. Years ago, my mom was told she had a retina problem that would cause her to go blind. Over 30 years later, she can see fine.

God is still in the miracle-working business.

Praying for you,
Susan

Continuing to believe with you. I will pray as the Spirit leads, especially for God to ordain the specific people to work with your medical needs. I think that what you experienced during the MRI was proof that no matter what, you are in His presence. Love and blessings!

Father, my heart is touched so I ask that my words be Yours. Bring to Denise Your Eyes of Healing which sees with such clarity that You Hold our todays and tomorrows with all Knowledge You Act upon. With my own tears weeping right now I acknowledge that our eyes have so many more functions than the obvious sight. They are the center of our soul. They tell it all when we look to one another. They close the world at night for sleep to be had. They open our morning to begin our day. Eyes are the holding of many Works we have seen. We guard what they see so that we keep our hearts. With Denise's steps I pray You give the keen Sight of Observation that brings Wisdom for her Healing. Watching her surroundings so that the enemy is destroyed by the Praise upon her lips. Connect her Praise with the multitude that lifts the heavens Song of Deliverance as she Walks in Your Safety and Sees with Your Eyes. We give You Praise for You are forever Lord. My Jesus has Redeemed us.
