Word Filled Wednesday

My friends, I want to be a fisherwoman for Jesus. I want to throw His Word out to those hurting, and lost in this world. My prayer is to reel in soul, after soul. When I cast my pole out into the world, may it bring sweet offerings onto my Father.

A clever graphic to illustrate your heart's desire.....it is mine also...that the light, the fragrance of Jesus might be evident to a dark lost world.

The Greatest Commission! I'm with you on that Denise! We will continue to spread God's word until Jesus comes back. There's still a lot out there who's thirsty for His word! We will not stop until everyone hears it and believe!

My Sunday School teacher when I was seven, taught us a little song, "I Will Make You Fishers of Men If You Follow Me." There is no greater calling!

Awesome goal that I share - and the cool thing is that, unlike with fishy fishing - in Jesus, there's never a fish too small! :) Which is good, since He has me working tons with the wee ones. :) Have a blessed, Word-filled week.

That is my goal too. To live a life that has Jesus written on it and sometimes that can be so hard because I fight with my flesh.
Denise you are an inspiration, your prayers, your posts, your hospitality is always there. I know Jesus looks down upon you and just smiles....I know I think of you and smile.

Peggy said...

OK DENISE We are all wondering about you and PRAYING HARD!!!

You did not hang up a sign here that said: GONE FISHIN'

So...o where o where is the Shortybear? O where o where can she be?

I have checked with our sweet sisters: Karen, Cathy, Leslie...who I think checked with Marsha and I even left word with Tiffany to pray for you and Lovebug!!! I know one of them left a message on Voice mail and I'm sure that they left comments here that we can't see because you have to approve first.
Well, God approved this and He left me a voice mail for YOU!!!

TRUST & PRAY!

So that's what we're doing, trusting & believing and PRAYING!!!

IN JESUS NAME!!!

I know that you told me to PACE it but you, too! I remembered about your eye specialist and yet...

Missing you like crazy and you better believe we all noticed on Thurs.

Father God, You know our sweet sister and her Lovebug completely. You know their going out and their coming in, their rising and their needs! We lay these before Your Throne trusting You to care for her and him! We know that You love Denise as we all do. We miss her!
Whatever the situation or circumstance, You are in control. We ask for favor, love, provision,
grace, healing, protection and complete care over them both.
Wrap Your loving arms around Denise! Be with her! Flow by Your Spirit from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. Send in angels guard them then someone angelic to let us know through a messenger what is happening so we may pray better. In Jesus name we ask this and seek Your will.

Love & hugs,
Peggy

I've been missing you, Shortybear, so came over to see what's going on :) I thought I'd commented on this post some time ago - echoing what almost all the other 34 have said, but don't see my comment...so I wanted to be sure to let you know that thoughts of you come to my mind every so often, and when they do I pray and ask God for special strength, insight joy and courage for you.

Hoping to hear about/from you soon!
