What a timely message, Denise! Yes, indeed, there IS a lot of discouragement out "there"! Reading the Psalms, I see David got discouraged, too! I don't know how long the gap between the discouragement and the time he turned to the Lord, but it WAS his focus on the Lord that got him out of his funk!

I choose joy, dear sister! God bless you and keep you sensitive to His direction and His heart!

Time is short for the enemy and he is busy whispering discouragment. You have heard correctly and I join you today in your message. Love you, too. Was that a black cat in the background?

Hi Denise,

Thanks for sharing the words of encouragement. When discouragement comes, it's not the time to give up. I believe the enemy knows that if we can be discouraged, we'll give up and not see the mighty power of God bring victory for us.

I will be in prayer this week against the spirit of discouragement.

Thank you for shining the light of truth.

Blessings and peace.

Blessings and JOYous SONday Denise,

Ohhh, what a great message & encouragement! You are so right!
More of us need to join eLisa's PRAISE challenge that will cast that spirit of heaviness far away! As always a blessing for me and I'm so glad I did not wait until tomorrow!

Seeing you always puts a SMILE on my face :0) I love your precious black cat meowing for some attention too or maybe just food,
but don't let my d-o-g-s hear that.

Love, love, love your precious heart and seeing you! love your prayer for Alleluiabelle! I was so sad to read that..ohhhh but no discouragement... higher, higher,
His love is lifting us up!!!
Love hearing you sing too!!!

Discouragement OUT... encouragement IN... and COURAGE comes from being bold in Christ who gives us the victory! OK Denise, I'm reprogrammed and if you saw all my RESTORE posts (1,2,3)then my dance,
and all my PRAISE songs at The Power of Your Love, you'd know that I'm trying as best as I can. Having Isaiah 61 as my blog verse helps.
Wanda needs the garment of praise, did you go visit her? Thanks, cuz I know you spread His joy & SONshine all over blog land!!! Thanks...
Denise, not a Christian song but I'm singing it as I leave here...
You are my Sonshine, my...Sonshine,
You make me happy when skies are grey... and I'm doing theShortybear dance too!!!

Throughout listening to your video, this was my thought:

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:6-7)

Thank you, sweet little friend. The joy of the Lord is our strength. And we just have to cast our cares on Him. You are precious. Love you ~

Hi Denise! I've been away/busy with "life" (in charge of big events, babysitting, etc.) and I've missed you!! So, today I decided to come on over and touch base with you! And what do I find, but this wonderful video! You are such a blessing to so many. What a dear, dear lady you are! An inspiration to me. An example of a praising, thankful heart always! May you experience the lifting up of the Lord, Denise, during this time of eye appointments, and all you're going through. You are truly beautiful (hairloss and all:) I've experienced no hair, well, I left one long strand that didn't fall out, ha! Is your hair super soft, like mine was when mine came back in? Anyways, your beauty shines through from the spirit of Jesus within you, and I love you, dear sister in Christ.
Blessings,
Wendy
