Thankful Thursday

I am very thankful for praise dancing, attempting to show praise and love to my Lord. When I talk about praise dancing, I want to make it clear what I am talking about. I have never in my life, had one single dance class. I do not participate in any praise dance, or worship team at church, and never have. I do not claim to be graceful, or a naturally talented dancer. But, I do love the Lord with all I am, and with all I have, or will ever have. I want to express my love and appreciation to Him with all of my heart. So, I dance before Him here at home in my living room, and anywhere else I choose. I make up my own dances for Him, swaying in time to the worship music that is playing. I lift my hands in worship to my King, and I sing in tune to the beautiful song He has placed deep in my heart, expressing the joy that pours forth from my heart and soul. As I close my eyes, and move to the rhythm of the music, I know I am no longer alone. My Lord has gathered me in His arms, and is twirling me around, and around. My feet may never touch the ground again, woo hoo. Thanks for the dance sweet Lord, I love You.

What an encouragement you are, Denise. That time alone with God is way better than being on a praise team. Your posts always bless me.

Hey Denise, do you know what happened with the linkup over at womentakingastand? Just was wondering, and I know you always participate. I posted, too, even though I wasn't able to link up.
Blessings,

This must be the secret of your powerful intercession. Prayers get answered! The Lord is a dancer and waiting for a partner. So glad you say "yes".

I love praise dancing. I use to do it. It's been a while. However, it's been stirring back in my spirit these past few weeks. Maybe your post is confirmation. Thanks for this post. Happy TT!!!

This isn't a dance you can learn in a class! You've gotta feel it inside! Just follow your dancing Partner. I love it, Denise. And I imagine He loves it even more than you do :)
