Blinded
Hello my sweet friends, praying you are all doing well. I know, by now, you have all heard about the aid workers that were killed in Afghanistan. My heart is beyond saddened by this news. I know they are all in the arms of Jesus now, but this should never have happened. They were there to help those people, without seeking glory, or financial blessings. They gladly volunteered their time, and talents to help others in need. Some of those included a female doctor, a dentist, and an eye doctor. The eye doctor gave up his practice here in the United States, to freely share his skills, to help people in Afghanistan not lose their vision. How tragic, that those with no spiritual vision, totally blind to our precious Saviour, then so brutally took his life. Please join me in praying for the family, and loved ones of those killed. But, also, join me in praying for the ones who committed this horrible crime. They are lost, and headed straight for hell, pray for them. Save them Father, Save them.

It is indeed heartbreaking. Along with these prayers, please add a prayer for all the brave soldiers and their families.

Thank you for the reminder to pray for not only the families of the victims but the perpetrators as well. They are lost and need the Savior! It is sometimes easy to forget those who live so far away.
i heard this terrible news only this morning. what a sad thing. i pray that the families of these prescious souls who are with Jesus now will be comforted even in this most trying times in their lives.

Beautiful heart as always!
May God give us hearts and strength like these rescue medical workers! May He bring comfort to their families! May He save the people and reveal Himself as God Almighty, Savior of Afghanistan & the lost!

So, so very sad....
Amen girl!
I have often wondered in the past if God lets us know of these horrible things so that we can pray and intervene for these lost souls.
Denise,
I know that God will bring something good from the evil our enemy is trying to bring in helping others bring the message of Christ's salvation to a hurting world.
Praying that He provides comfort to their families and brings justice to those who committed these horrible crimes.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
Lord, I heartily amen my sister's prayer. Please send other Christians quickly, to show the enemy has not been victorious. Please allow compassion to be shown to the local people as an outpouring of how Your grace works. Please comfort the families of Your martyrs with the knowledge that it will be the briefest of days before we are reunited in Your presence.
Thank You, Father. I offer my petition in the precious name of the Lord Jesus.
This is the first time I hear about it. Thank you for sharing.
I will pray...
That is so devastating!!
((((Denise))))
I know Denise. So horrible.
I love your heart that worries about praying for the perpetrators of such a heinous crime! May God comfort the families of the victims and touch the hearts of the perpetrators.
My heart breaks with you - for the senselessness of it all....and for the precious family members left behind.
Then I remember what they did to Jesus. And my heart breaks again. And He said not to be surprised when it happens to US!
When a seed falls into the ground, new life eventually springs forth. Oh Heavenly Father, may it be so again. And again.
