Wonderful post. I appreciate this so much. Our boys facility is a drug/alcohol rehab so I really understand this. Yes we need to stand in the gap for each other.
We are currently staying with friends till next weekend. You'll crack up when you hear all that has happened. We have some other friends to move to after that but I hope we get a place before.
Cowboy has a job interview today. Part time that will not conflict with ministry. Please ask for prayers for that and the housing. We are dead on our feet and still have to unload the moving truck into a storage building. Have a Blessed Day. I'll be in touch. I think we have the internet working here now so hopefully I'll post later today while he is gone.
Hugs,
S.
p.s. please pray we can find someone to keep our cat for us. Last night at 9 we found out our daughter couldn't keep him.

Blessings on you, Denise!

I'm encouraged with you about the progress you're seeing.

I love that line, 'The world thinks Christians should be committed - and God does too!' Absolutely! :-)

There's a line from a favorite movie of mine, 'Frequency' (sort of a time warp thing) in which the good guy says to the bad guy, 'You went down 30 years ago. You just don't know it.' Satan was defeated at the Cross, but it's still so tempting to be drawn away from following Christ, to get distracted and discouraged by our own lusts, whatever that may be. And you're right. There are so many out there to lure us in.

Have a great weekend!

Amen, Denise! We should be fearlessly committed to our God...and faithfully praying for the needs of others...

Addictions...of all kinds...are running rampant everywhere...including in my own family...but GREATER is HE that is IN us...than he that is in the world...hallelujah!

Hey, hey, hey!! ;) I love you too my sister. Denise, you are so inspiring of fearlessness and love. I am so glad you posted one of your videos again. They are so rich with His presence.

You know I'll be praying with you and Angie today as I do on other days too. I'll be praying a special prayer for your brother today.

So many needs, but we serve a MIGHTY God.

Have a beautiful weekend sis.

"If we don't pray we become 'prey'." Love that! So very profound.

Love you! Can't wait to see you next Thursday.

It's always great to hear you talking in front of us...But much more with the message you had imparted. What does being a Christian mean without "praying?" They go together. So, thank you for this reminder! We must never cease! Have a wonderful weekend sis and it's good to hear that bro. Eddie is doing well! PTL! And you, too! Love to you.

What an Awesome Post. I agree that we need to be there for one another.
Sweet Angel Denise,
I want to say a prayer for you.

Dear God,
My redeemer, My internal teacher, My divine physician.
Thank You for your presence in my life and the life of My Sweet Loved Ones.

I surrender to You all I am, all I think, all I feel, and all I have.

I recognize in this moment that Yours is the power to heal and make whole.
You who have the power to work miracles,
You who rule time and space, please take Sweet Angel Denise in Your arms and hold her tight.

Dear Lord, please lift Denise up and heal her in your mighty name.
She is a Bright Light in the lives of many including mine.
Lord I pray that thy will be done.
In your Heavenly name I pray,
Amen.
Have a Beautiful Day Sweet Denise.
You are so Loved.
Niecy.
