Thankful Thursday

I am thankful this week for my precious sister. I do not get to see her very often, and I really miss her. I have not seen her since December when lovebug was in the hospital, but she has been my rock throughout all of this. She constantly calls me, sends me cards and letters, and prays for me. She also sends me goodie bags with snacks, and other surprises. Thursday, she has an eye appointment here in Chattanooga with my eye doctor. Lovebug and I also have eye appointments on Thursday, but our appointments are in the afternoon, my sister has an early morning appointment. We are going over there to meet her, I cannot wait to see her, and give her great big hugs. She said she is bringing me another goodie bag, and I also made her a goodie bag. I copied several bible studies and devotions off of the computer for her, she does not have a computer. I made her several goodies, and I am giving her a card. I am also thankful that I am going to see the eye doctor, praying that he will be able to help me. Also praying that lovebugs examination will be fine. Father God is so very awesome, I praise Him for this smile upon my face, and I pray that you are all blessed with smiles today my friends. I love you all.

Wow Denise, I feel deprived all of a sudden. Must be wonderful to have a sister like you...I am the only girl, though I now have a SIL.

God bless you and yours and I'll say a prayer for the three of you.

Denise, many people have been praying for Eddie and we are eagerly anticipating God's answer to our prayers. He knows best. And whatever the outcome, we know we can trust His heart.
May you and your sister share a happy time of fellowship.
God bless you all!

Father God,
I ask you to be with your children Denise,Eddie and sister today. Be with thier doctors. Give wisdom to the doctors. Give all these kids peace and assurance and help them all have a happy day with each other. Thanks for loving them.

I hope your time with your sister has been full of blessing and mutual encouragement. Praying that the doctor was able to make accurate assessment of your eyes - yours AND your lovebug's. His grace is sufficient for ALL our needs - small and large.

Must be nice to have a sister. I wouldn't know, but I'm about to gain a 'sister' when my brother gets married. She's really nice.

I hope everything goes well for you and your family at the eye doctor. I hate going to the eye doctor, but mine is cute, so it makes going there a little better. His name is Joel like my brother. Haha!

Oh, Denise, there is nothing like having a sister. I'm very close to my sister. She is 17 years older than me, so you'd think there would be this big communication gap, but there isn't. Perhaps it's because of what she always said about me. She always says, "I was never a child. I was born an adult.", referring to my maturity. Amber is the same way. Her circle of friends refer to her as the "grandma" of the group. LOL

I'm hoping everything went well at the eye doctor. Please let me, or you've probably already blogged about it. I'm catching up with my reading now. If not though, please let me know.

I hope you enjoyed your visit with your sister. I always enjoy mine. Love you bunches and God bless!!
