SSI Interview

Hello my sweet friends, hope you are all doing well. Today was my interview with SSI. We have really been praying over this day, and I know alot of you have been praying with us. Things are not looking very good right now, they told me that I will probably not get anything. The reason being that we have too much income!! Can you believe that? What income?? Since January, lovebug has been getting short term disability from his job, which is $175.74 a week. That is our total income. They said if lovebug gets to go back to work in May, our income would be too much, and if he does not get to go back in May, and he starts drawing social security disability, that our income would still be too much. I said, but I am going blind, and I have type 1 diabetes, heart disease, and several other health problems. None of it made a difference. But, you know what? Everything is ok, God is our provider for life. God will see us through this, He will continue to watch over us. Guess what? We do have too much income, we have God's love, and that makes us very rich. Bless you all, please keep praying.

Our Sweet Denise, I will continue to Pray for you and Luv Bug.
God will provide, I believe that. There is a reason behind EVERYTHING that we go through.
We learn by it.
We help others through what we have (or) ARE going through.
Like OUR Father We are others Teachers like Our Father is to Us.
Bless You & LuvBug.

Precious Sister, what came to my mind as I read your heart words is this:

"My GOD shall supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory which is in Christ Jesus".

and..

"Cast your cares upon the Lord and he shall sustain you."

and...

"Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you."

Sis, the LORD has His eye and hand upon you and your husband and there is no "worldly system" that is going to determine what you should or should not have. I'm going to keep praying in agreement with God's word for you both. I know that GOD is faithful and...

"He will never leave you or forsake you."

"Trust in the LORD Denise and Eddie and lean not unto your own understanding but acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths." Keep standing on His Word as you are dear sister. The LORD loves you both.

Love you.

Sweet Sister,

My heart and prayers are so with you both...I love your heart and positiveness in this...and you are so right when you say, " But, you know what? Everything is ok, God is our provider for life. God will see us through this, He will continue to watch over us. Guess what? We do have too much income, we have God's love, and that makes us very rich."

He is always with us and if anybody knows that, you both sure do. He.Will.Provide. That is what I keep saying deep within my heart too. You continue to encourage and inspire me my loving sister in Christ. I dearly love you both! YES...HE.WILL.PROVIDE! Continue to Soak in Him, His Presence as I know that you are. He will tend to our every need. Rest in His Will my friend.

Denise I know from experience that it's typical to get turned down once and even twice before you get approved. You're right, that you're rich in God, but don't give up on this. They (the government) make it hard so that people quit trying. Voice of experience. Love you my sister

As children of the King, we do have riches that compare to nothing on this earth...

Jehovah Jireh...will keep praying...

And don't give up...I've heard the same thing about having to try several times before being approved for assistance....

I am so sorry that things didn't go well today. I don't understand how they expect you to live on that amount of money, could you call your state representative to see if he could help. It just doesn't seem fair.
Keeping you in my heart and prayers always.......:-) Hugs

I can't believe you got told you make too much money! Don't let this discourage you though. It's very typical to get denied the first time you apply. Just keep on keeping on! You have a lot of people believing and praying with you. Things CAN change. I love you attitude about it though :)

I often smile when thinking of the words "social security". Our only true security is in Jesus and He will provide all our needs.

Psalm 37:25 - "I've never seen the righteous forsaken, or their seed begging for bread."

Praying for you sweet sister.

Don't give up, keep reapplying. This is just the way they do. No one gets it the first go around.

In the meantime, THIS is what the body of Christ was designed to do - to care for one another.

Love you.

Goodness...sounds like the enemy won this skirmish. But he failed to see who is surrounding you and WHO is getting ready to stand up on your behalf.
You keep walking....you have a mighty troop of prayer warriors walking with you in Spirit.
Love you girl...you are NOT alone.

I'm praying sweet sis...You know my own family's struggle these 19 months with Randy being out of work. the Dr. wants to put him on high blood pressure pills. They are EXPENSIVE. We have NO medical coverage. Welfare tells us we are NOT in need because we have some savings..One rrsp that taken out early we will be penalized HUGE..and the amount that we have won't even pay our bills for the month...

God IS good though...Please pray for Randy to get his diet on track so that it will lower is blood pressure naturally..love you and you know I'm praying for you and love bug too.
