Pursuing Love-No Room For Jealousy

There should be no room at all in your marriage for any jealousy. They call jealousy the green monster for a reason, it is totally toxic. It will poison your marriage, and cause it to slowly start dying. As a matter of fact, jealousy should not be in your life at all, it hurts everything it connects with. Here are some of the questions for this week:•Do I rejoice with those who rejoice? Yes, I do. I feel joy is something that is very contagious, and needs to be shared. When others are happy, that makes me happy.
•Do I rejoice when others receive blessings, and benefits that I have not received?
Yes, we all have our times of blessings and benefits. They just arrive at different times, under various circumstances.
•How do you respond when your husband gets attention, or honor, or praise, that you know, because you live with them, they really don’t deserve? I do not have the right to say whether he is deserving or not, that is only for God to decide.

AMEN Denise! No room for jealousy.
Love your answers! Love you, sis!
Still praying & believing!

(((big hugs)))
P.S. I'm just a little jealous that you & Lovebug have such a wonderful relationship and love! (not green though)...everyone should be so fortunate! You both have been through so much that you both deserve the BEST & all that God pour over you, on you & through you. All of us that visit receive the blessing of seeing your love!

Great post Denise. So true there is no room for jealousy or envy.

Sorry I haven't visited your blog in a few days. (I'm still catching up from being without electricity for two days due to the snowfall).

Still praying for you and "Lovebug"

I was just reading about this. The only jealousy that is "okay" is God's... he is a "jealous God"... in other words He DOES deserve all our praise and all honor and all glory. Beyond that jealousy should just not be a part of our daily lives. Thank you for such an excellent reminder!
Blessings, Kim

What a timely post. I just finished reading a book: Blessing Your Husband by Debra Evans. So awesome. Jealousy is not my problem, but returning blessings when my husband shows forth his sinfulness(as we all do) trying not to control his actions so that he does just what I think he should...well, an entirely different matter. Great reminder sweet sister! Hugs!

Wow...that last question is a great one to just choose to keep our mouths shut. :)
I try and remember that I am sure if the shoe were on the other foot he would do the same for me.
Things have changed a lot in our marriage...jealousy has been dealt with....but if I don't keep my eye out for it it will try and sneak in where ever it can.
Good wisdom here.
Love you girl
