Watching Him, Watching Me, As He Watches Us

Yesterday, was one of lovebug's therapy days. As I stood there watching him working up a sweat, giving it all he has, and so much more, I noticed something that really touched my heart. He keeps his eyes on me nearly the entire time he is doing his therapy, which is one hour long. When we got home last night, I asked him why he keeps his eyes on me while he is doing his therapy, instead of on his physical therapist. His answer was: I am greatly motivated by you, you are my inspiration, my cheerleader, my little general, and actually, you are my therapy. I feel as if by keeping my eyes on you, I will succeed at any therapy they ask me to do, because you keep my heart beating. Wow, he is definitely a keeper, my grand prize in life. I see so much in him, he is my hero. He is so determined to get better, he refuses to give up. His faith has grown so much just in the past few weeks, he gives all the praise and glory to God. My prayer is that as God watches us go through this storm together, He will be happy with the way we handle it. We are holding onto the umbrella together, keeping our eyes on one another, focusing on each others strengths, and cheering each other on to victory. Of course, our eyes never leave our heavenly Father, from whom all of our precious blessings flow.

Awesome. Thanks for sharing this. I praise Him for giving you inner strength and shining His light out through you to motivate and help your husband, to be that helpmeet that he needs right now. Only by His power and strength can you keep on; may He strengthen you by His might in your "inner man". And Lord, do a miracle in Eddie's body; thank you for giving him strength to keep on working hard, and using Denise. Thank you, for her ability to praise you and give you glory in and through this. Thank you for his words of love to her. Continue to help them, Dear Lord.
Amen.
Blessings,
Wendy

The best fishermen are the ones who have weathered the storm out on the open sea.
The humility of the power of might is a learned thing that bell that can never be un rung.
Teaches great dependency and appreciation for the catch that nothing be wasted.
Blessed be the waves
loving you

Your sweet "Lovebug" is truly special and such a blessing to you, as it seems you are to him. You two truly are "one flesh". What a beautiful and joyous picture of Christ and His bride you present to each one of us.

Prayers are still going up, but I believe the blessings are coming down on those of us blessed to know you, either in real life or in "bloggy land."

Blessings, Kim
