Thankful Thursday

Hello everyone, welcome to another thankful Thursday. I pray that you are finding many things to be thankful for these days. We must count our blessings, not our trials. Our trials make us stronger, which that strength can become a sweet blessing. I am very thankful for my lovebug, and how dedicated he is to his physical and spiritual therapy. He is determined to give it 100%, he is working so hard to get stronger and better. May God bless his efforts. I am thankful for the continued love that is pouring into our lives through our blogging friends. Your love offerings, prayers, and endless encouragements are so very, very appreciated. Lovebug has cervical spinal cord compression, and also a condition known as guillian barre syndrome, which is similar to MS. We are thankful that God spared lovebug's life, and we truly feel that God will send healing into lovebug's body soon. We are thankful for God's word, which tells us that He will supply all of our needs. Because of our heavenly Father, we our rich in countless ways. I am thankful that my marriage is better than ever, we are standing strong together, instead of falling apart. Thank You Father for being the super glue that keeps our marriage strongly bonded. We love you, and each other, more than words could ever express.

Are the "spells" that he has related to the Guillian Barre syndrome? Or do they know? I am praying for your peace, healing, stamina, joy, and finances. Our God WILL supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus.

I'm so thankful for you that you continue to encourage us. Despite the difficulties you both are facing, you remain strong in Him. And that pushes us to do the same.

So, I'm thankful also for your strength and love for God that shows everytime I come here to visit. God bless you both and may His healing cover you both. Love to you.

denise, God is so pleased with you for praising Him in spite of all the trials that come your way.

you know, more than a decade ago, i had GBS as well. i didn't know what it was before. i was having cold sweats, high fever and some pricking feeling that started on the soles of my feet and went up to my legs until i almost lost sensation on my legs. i was rushed to the hospital but the doctors didn't know what was happening to me. GBS was so rare. i then started losing control of my motor skills. i was already moving like a snake and i couldn't control the movement at all. it was when my mom's neurologist who came to see me that we've all learned what was happening to me. the doctor said it was GBS. i was given a capsule, can't remember what that was anymore. just after taking it in for 5 minutes, the snake-like move that i couldn't control stopped. i had therapy and now, i'm totally healed. later on i learned that i could've died right there if i wasn't given the medicine that very hour. it was a miracle that i'm still alive right now. i believe God allowed my mom's neurologist to come in and see me right that moment. when i took the medicine, it was just the perfect time for me to have taken it. a minute late could've been fatal for me.

God's timing is perfect. He healed me of GBS and other illnesses and i am sure He will do it for you and eddie as well. continue to claim God's healing. the enemy wanted you to suffer but God has other plans. God will surely provide for ALL your needs. i believe so.

God bless you, sweet denise. know that i am praying for you and eddie.

Guillain Barre can be very scary. However, I know there is a lot of hope for those who suffer with it. And obviously, there is a mighty hope in our Jesus. Your faith is poured out in such a sacrificial and beautiful way, Denise. Even in this, you inspire. love you.
