A Little Bit Of This, And A Little bit Of That

Hello everyone, praying you are all doing well. Lovebug and I are doing ok, we now do one hour of physical therapy, instead of two thirty minute sessions. He still calls me the general, and tries to flirt his way out of various exercises, lol But, he is really doing great. He is working so hard, but is still numb. God is still here, and He is not going anywhere. Miracles will arrive, when God is ready for them to arrive. We are patiently awaiting their arrival. Financially, we were able to get our bills paid for January, praise God. We found out this weekend, that lovebug's check is not going to be $179.07, instead it will be $175.05. But, God will provide. We called to make an appointment to apply for SSI, and food stamps. We are in the process of getting all the paperwork together, and praying that one of us, or both, will be able to get a check. We do not want to lose our apartment, or our car. May God have His way, and will. We are totally trusting Him with everything, we are His children. I have a dear friend, who is like a daughter to me. Her name is Cheyenne, I met her when she was only 10 years old. I was her Sunday school teacher. We become very close, she spent nearly every weekend with us, and most of the summers. I love her more than words can express. She is now 20 years old, and a married woman. Her and her dear husband Jon, are precious to me and lovebug. She has recently started her own blog, it is wonderful. But, she rarely has any visitors, except for me. If you get a chance, please visit her, tell her I sent you. It will put a big smile on her heart, and you will be blessed by her words. Thank you all. Here is her link: http://p319women.blogspot.com/

Denise, I'm so happy to see a post from you! It's good to know that Lovebug is doing well with the physical therapy and has a sense of humor about it. I'm glad you're being the general because the therapy is good for him whether or not you're seeing immediate results.

You're an awesome woman and a tremendous wife -- I hope you have lots of people in your life telling you that!

And now I'm off to visit your friend's place.

I love you Denise.

Your comment on your husband trying to flirt his way out of his therapy exercises cracked me up. I love that you both can find the fun together still. :)

Blessings Denise...abundant blessings of God's Holy Provision. I'm so sorry to hear about the shortage of the little bit they are giving Lovebug.
May God provide mightily for you both. It's great to hear that Lovebug's improving with endurance and his general! May the numbness leave in Jesus name and may all the paperwork be done to provide as you trust and need to make ends meet!
HE IS ABLE and so are you both in the power of Jesus, all things are possible. Do not let this defeat you but keep on in this battle to overcome & be victorious! Hope I get a chance to leave Cheyenne a comment & encourage her. That's so sweet of you. I went over there just didn't get a chance to write.
(later) SMILE & happy LORD's day!

Hello my friend - just checking in on you and pappa Eddie! I also wanted to make sure you were aware (and anyone else!) of a wonderful ministry called Angel Food Ministries. http://www.angelfoodministries.com - There is no income requirement and they accept food stamps. For $25 (sometimes a little more) you get a HUGE box of food, and you can add on things like a meat box, veggie box, etc - all on the website, you can see it all there - But anyway, Brian and I utilize this from time to time when things are tight for us, as do friends and family of ours - They are an AWESOME resource and the food is typical grocery food and you can view he menus online. They even do holiday boxes for holidays. Pick up locations vary, they are usually at churches.

Just thought I put that out there in case you, or anyone else, could utilize it!

LOVE YOU!!!

Hi Sis,
I will keep you both in my prayer journal and I know the Lord will make away. My Dh and I have also been there and I can totally relate. God is never too late or too early, but he is always on time, his time. Keep the faith and lke Gods word says...

I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread.

I love *U* Sis Lorie

I pray that the finances you need will be provided and that you will be able to continue to live with contentment with what the Lord provides. You have weathered so many hardships with faith and a joyful spirit. Your example challenges and inspires me in SO many ways.
