Take The Higher Road

Luke 6:27 (NKJV)

"But I say unto you which hear, love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you."

This may seem hard to do at times, but whenever Jesus tells us to do something, He also enables us to do it. Here He says that you are to love your enemies, and be kind to those who work evil against you! It's impossible to do it by yourself, but God's love in you, will always give you the ability to treat people right. Take the higher road today!

Luke 6:27. It is those people on my prayer list I want the Lord to feel my genuine heart for. I really do pray for my enemies.

Thank you my dear friend for such a sweet reminder. You are right we can not do it on own strength it has to come from our Lord.
My husband mailed the "Fireproof" movie to you today. I am soooo sorry it has been so long in getting it to you. Since mom has been gone things are different. I am also facing major home repairs that the builder refuses to take responsibility for. Please pray that God will help us through this time. I also want you to know God is using you my friend. HE is receiving GLORY right now . . . I am praising HIS HOLY NAME. Merry Christmas . . . also wanted to let you know I will taking a blogging break. So much to do with the house and I am still taking care of my mom's home. (to sell) Sorry this comment is so long, but I know you will understand. I love you.

I know. I have been to that situation, too. But God's power is greater.

Amen! It is amazing - no matter how difficult the task may seem when we surrender to His will, He gives us what we need. Praise His name!!
