My Goodness if she could see all the love your pouring out!

Good Evening
This is Donetta

Denise found a moment to call me tonight.
Terrible rough road. Eddie feels nothing from waist down. Feels nothing on the left side.
He is cognitive but mood swings and fearful understandably.

I have encouraged Denise to go to the clergy to ask aide to set up a disability process so her income can come to cover her domestic expense. Eddie is fully depending on her and so I have given Denise permissiion (as in :) kicked her fanny ) to find a way to let God get Eddie to accept the aide of the staff. She is worn and has had only one shower sense 12-23 and only left hospital one time to feed and water the cat. Her MIL took her over to the apartment for a few moments only. She has been at his side the entire time.
I have given her a good loving talking too about letting God be God and going to the cafeteria and getting some hot food. She will have to wait till morning now. She has just nibbled here and there.
I got her to a good laugh and she loved it that I kicked her fanny. She is just so dear and all of you know.
I think that the hard times will need to be softened so if any of you feel led to give an offering to aide them I know that the help would be ever so humbly accepted.

Oh I wish I could read all of the comments you send to her. I did so with well over half the other night and it gave her footing to hear you. She is learning to care for her self the very hard way. She is being given a gift of fully relying on God to teach these things to her. She is within Him and He her. I told her of how God is being glorified and that one day she will comfort others with the same comfort that she is being comforted with. I so wish I could just go there and help her. I am so sad to think of her there without a physical companion to walk beside, I know this is her road. I just love her and see the path is a steep one. May He press her on into His full Glory.
She sounded so much better when she hung up than when the long call began. I just told her what she already knew and gave her the reality that she needs no ones permission to do what she knows is right to do. We spoke of false guilt being that that leaves no need of amends and that it is condemnation. Just freed her up to remember truth. Guess I need to hear it for myself too. Don't we all?
She is a genuine Lady folks the real Mc Coy! We are truly blessed to learn at her side.

I'm so glad she has you, a wonderful friend to lean on during such a hard time. I wish I could be there to help her but I live so far away. Please tell her I am praying for her and Eddie, and sending them both strength!

Ditto to all you said. Denise has been going to a church so are not those members aware of the situation? Also, her father and his companion? I know that she has problems with other family members but thought that her Father and she were close now. I am not very far away and am seriously considering a trip there.

Blessings Denise, OK time to freshen up, which means taking care of you too...REST and SHOWER; FOOD brings POWER...You my sweet friend, need to be strong and so you must take care of yourself to care for Eddie later!

Listen to the wisdom of good friends & what God is speaking to you! Still waiting for God to answer one of my petitions for you and that's to send SOMEONE to be along side you through this! (not your sister & you need to let that go, she's not well) You need wellness to surround you & God to sustain you but you need to do your part & be wise!

Heavenly Father, Continue to make a way for Denise and bring healing & restoration to Eddie. Keep Denise healthy and wise. May the strength of the LORD fill Denise! May You direct her steps! May You provide for her in every way financially, spiritually, emotionally, physically...all ways and Eddie too! Take away the spirit of fear and bring clear understanding and compassionate care! Give wisdom to all medical staff and Denise! Make her alert to all she needs to know.
Provide food for Denise and to keep her well & strengthened! Maintain her sugar levels properly & remind her to take care of herself so this is maintained. Send Your Comfort to surround her. Send people from that church she was attending so they realize that they must be Jesus in time of great need & difficulty. I know she prayed with a group, perhaps someone in that prayer group could pass the word on. Be glorified as You bring this to good for Denise & Eddie; complete healing...we expect a miracle & heavenly aide. You alone are the Great Physician, that Denise trusts so completely. Encourage her and walk with her each moment! Help all involved to deal well with this to Your Glory. Forgive Denise's sis & mend this wound. May Denise hear only the voice of truth and cling to Your promises! Pour out Your love & blessings on Denise! Rise up prayer intercessors & speak forth the Truth over Denise, pray for Eddie & believe in Jesus' Name!

Love you Denise...
Big shortybear hug and dance for victory in Jesus!!!

Donetta.. What if I set up a blog and put a pay pal button on it and see if we can get some donations for her.... I will look into doing that if you think it is a good idea.. My husband is pretty smart about things like that...... What ya think?

Donetta, thank you for posting this update! What a dear friend you are...

Continuing to pray for Denise and Eddie, for everything they need in this medical crisis, for the Lord to strengthen and heal, to show Himself faithful in brand new ways, to comfort and fill their hearts with His peace...Jesus is our Peace. So many practical needs come to mind & I pray for those, too - that the Lord's provision would bless them deeply.

Oh, Denise, we love you so much!

My Dear Dear Sister,

Know that I am standing with you in all ways that I can via our blogs. My prayers are being said for you, Eddie and these entire circumstances. I love you so dear friend. You have helped me so much in my walk with my husband's heart issues and my own health issues. I will stand by you in whatever way that I can.

Again, I love you precious one. I know how very hard it is when facing these kinds of things in the flesh, but know that He (the Almighty Physician) is only but a breath away. Remember we both believe in His healing miracles.
