“Let us remember the proclamation of the angel: “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
He is Christ the Lord”
(Luke 2:10-11).
May our hearts go out to the unconverted people…who have no blessed Christmas day.
“Go and enjoy choice food, and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is sacred to our Lord”
(Nehemiah 8:10).

Streams in the Desert- Christmas is all about gifts, but the greatest gift ever given, was a precious baby boy named Jesus.
We need to keep our focus upon Him, and be more than willing to share Him with others. So many are lost, and on their way to hell. There is not a more precious time, than Christmas to share the beautiful gift of salvation with people. Give someone a gift that will totally change their life, give them a heart transplant. Sharing Jesus with someone is what Christmas, and everyday should be about, now, more than ever. He is coming back soon, there is no time to waste. This year, my husband and I were not able to buy gifts for anyone, not even each other. But, that is ok. I am going to give everyone myself. My time, my love, my shoulder to cry upon if they need it, my ears to vent to if needed, my hands to willingly help them carry their burdens, my prayers, and my attention. I pray for all of you to be a gift to someone this year.

Jesus the best gift. My post today is about Jesus as a gift too! Blessings sweet sister.
Amen! Blessings and love to you sister.
Sending you a smile and a hug..... Christmas is not about what we have to give it is about what we were given....... Rest in that my sweet friend and know that HE would have chosen to come as a child if only for you....... That is awesome reality!
Beautiful words, Denise! There is now greater gift we can give than to share Jesus and ourselves to a hurting world.
I fixed McKLinky so you can go over to Typing One-Handed and link up.
Merry Christmas, my dear friend!
AMEN! A "heart transplant" is exactly right. And it costs no $$ -- just the time to share the truth of His Incarnation.
Merry CHRISTmas!

Have a Merry Christmas,
Sherry
Yes, amen, Denise!!
I think we need to stop and get back to what a true gift is. Giving yourself to your husband and family is an awesome priceless gift. Enjoy your gifts, wrap them and deliver them in a love that never ends.
You are a gift to me!
Wendy
