In Other Words Tuesday

“When the trials of life unravel
the fabric of our plans.
When we face the deep confusion
of painful circumstance.
When our feeble strength is broken,
and we stand with empty hands.
That’s when the Father whispers
‘Trust the pattern I have planned.’ “

Lyrics from song, The Weaver : When my parents found out that my momma was pregnant with me, they were determined to destroy the pattern of my life before it even began. But, my heavenly Father had other plans, and though the fabric had been torn in several areas, He repaired those areas with much love and care. Through the years, I have faced many trials, and have began to unravel. My Master Creator, with His loving touch, gently repaired me, over and over again. I know that I can always trust Him, for He chose this pattern long ago. There have been many adjustments to the pattern, but everything has been woven in to make my life a beautiful, and very colorful creation. Thanks for all the effort, and hard work You have put into my life Father. I love You with all I am.

Denise,

This is an awesome post and just what I needed to hear this morning.

I just found out yesterday that I have to go on insulin for my diabetes. It wasn't something that I wanted to do. Then I realized that this must be the plan He has for me. Maybe it will allow me to help others in some way, or maybe it is a test. Whatever it is, I'm open to His plan for me.

Merry Christmas to you and Eddie. May you be abundantly blessed throughout 2010.

Hugs,
Mary
