Friday Date Night- Game Night

Another date night that lovebug and I enjoy is game night. We turn off the computer, and television, and concentrate on having fun. We love all kinds of board games such as: Monopoly, Sorry, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Battleship. We are like two kids battling it out, woo hoo!! Whoever wins the most games that week, gets their favorite meal cooked the next game night date. It is a great way to have fun with the one you love.

Hi Denise,

More families should be turning off the television and doing more things like game night. My teen kids will be going to the highschool football game tonight, so I'm probably going to watch a "Chick" flick tonight on TV.

You are doing a good job managing your family time. I know that surely makes God very happy to see you all spending quality time together.

Great reminder you know Steve and I were just talking about this a couple nights ago to forgo movie night and play board games so that we look eye to eye with each other and the children.
This is a good goal to set for the day.
I will try to come up with a treat or beverage to go with it.
Maybe I can have the table ready when he gets home.
Dash has a play date that Dove is not invited too. Maybe she and I could make a time of it to get it ready.

Wow you guys are so cute. You might win the prize again. No one else has posted yet.
I love the idea of the favorite dinner but I gotta know who cooks it?
Thanks for posting and sharing.
Have fun playing games tonight. And btw give us an update on who wins and who cooks. Oh you could even take photo's of the meal!
Many Blessings Sweetie.
Hugs,
Sherry

This is so true. We need to turn off the distractions and spend time together. I love board games.

I love board games too. But I prefer the silly ones that you have to act or sing in. I love to laugh. And I'm not competitive. So to me it's more about giggling than winning.

Hugs!

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a note on my WFW post. I love the idea that the Master uses the clean vessel, not necessarily the most expensive, but the vessel that is clean.

What a motivation to pursue personal holiness and practical righteousness. Blessings to you.
