Thankful Thursday- Change

Welcome to Thankful Thursday, sorry mine is running late today. Lynn chose the theme of change this week, which is actually perfect for me. There are several changes I am praying for right now in my life. One is concerning my church home, lovebug and I are currently searching for a new home. We need to be where we are both being fed what we need, where the Lord is the head of the church. Where brothers, and sisters reach out in fellowship to one another, where you are treated like family, not strangers. My soul is yearning for fellowship, actually I am lonely, and crying out for reaching hearts and hands of fellowship. Another change I am praying for, is my health. I am in much prayer for improved health. I need a reviving, and refreshing. I am experincing so much nausea, pain, severe headaches, total sickness. I lay in the bed with face masks over my eyes to block out the light, my eyes hurt all the time, they are getting weaker. May God have His way, and will in all of this. I give Him all the glory, for what may come of all of this. I am not complaining, and I am not scared. I just want to be well, if that is His will. I want to be at 100%, so I can do His Kingdom work diligently. In His will, doing His work, is where I will forever choose to be, whether I am sick, or well. God's sweet blessings to you all.

Denise, I will definitely pray about both your search for a new home church, and your health. I can relate to your post so well. I love our church in that our pastor is soo blessed of God, His messages are powerful and both my husband and I continue to be fed so well. But the church is soo large it is very difficult to really know anyone and have some real fellowship. I have found it truly lacking in my life recently. That is why I have been so excited to met so many wonderful Christian ladies in blogland. I have had some wonderful fellowship with many of them. But sometimes you need a face too. I have a women's Bible study group in my home on fridays, but most of the women are very new Christians, or just not very mature in the Lord if you know what I mean. And I hear you on the health too. I have arthritis in both of my knees and I am in pain A LOT. Your symptoms don't sound like they'd be easy to bear at all. You have a WONDERFUL spirit and attitude and I will pray that the Lord blesses your requests. Take care and God Bless you, Debbie

Hello Denise
I believe you are doing the Lords work right were you type.I have been so blessed and spirtually feed by the Christian women I have been meeting on these blogs, your is no different.
You pour out your heart and make your self vulnerable with your story ... I wish I could reach through the computer to give you a warm hug.
For a long while I had stopped going to church because there were no real friendships in the gigantic church we were attending. It felt that we were invisable,it hurt so much I didnt want to go back.(Its so hard to meet people when you get older, isn't it???)
We are attending my daughters church from time to time,we are feed there...but its so far away.
I will pray for physical healing, and that you find a church that will feed you both,it is important.
Hugs and more hugs
Gracie

Mind if I recommend a couple books that if you aren't able to read, perhaps your lovebug would read to you.

Healing by Design (Scott K Hannen, DC) and World's Healthiest Foods (George Mateljan) www.whfoods.org

Many blessings upon you Denise...and I'm praying with you! I know about wearing the mask to keep the light out to dull the pain a bit and I pray that all these health problems leave in Jesus' Name. I also know how important finding the right church family is for you and Lovebug but I thought you had found it. I'm so sorry that you need to keep searching. May His Holy Spirit lead the way! Continue in God's way and stay close to Him!
May you feel His Healing touch today & every day. You are a blessing & encouragement to many right here & I appreciate you & the positive attitude you maintain in your struggle. Be strengthened!

Denise, You are such a blessing and example to all who read your blog. We see your love for Jesus. You have a tremendous ministry right here through your words and your love that shines out in each post and comment that you give from your heart. I pray that you will be healed if that is God's will. And I pray that you will be led in the direction which you are supposed to go when it comes to worshiping with other believers. I feel the same way you do. We have been attending our daughter's church since we moved back. I'm not sure it is where the Lord wants us. We seek his direction in this also.
Love you,
Mama Bear

I am wondering, are you going to a new church tomorrow morning. Email me and let me know if you are and the name. I will pray about it with you.

Love you my sweet friend! Brian and I are always praying for you! I totally understand where you are coming from both with your health, AND with finding a church home. I came to realize a long time ago that NO church is perfect except for the one that will be established once Jesus Himself comes to reign and rule over the body of Christ - only THEN will He TRULY be the center of ANY church :) LOVE YOU!
