Denise, this Scripture verse is so appropriate for today. Anxiety is rampant in our society but the Bible tells us not to be anxious. How often we seek out ways to manage anxiety instead of trusting in the One who can provide peace in the midst of the storm. Love you!
That's my life verse, dear friend. Along with the verse that follows it. Actually, the entire chapter pretty much rocks my house. But 6 and 7 define how we should deal with fear in a nutshell. The biggest "aha" moment for me was "with thanksgiving". What, I'm supposed to be thankful when things go wrong, are bad, hurtful, painful, crushing? And I finally realized that it's in finding the thankful that you rise above the hurt. God knows what He's talking about, doesn't He?
Blessings Denise...I love this verse! I love you! I love you praying for me! I'm so thankful for you! Resting in His Promises & trusting in Him! Praising Him in this storm! Thankful that I have His peace & prayers!
