Growing Up Mondays

Seek out and use your gifts — According to the scriptures, the Lord distributes gifts to each in the body as it pleases Him. Spiritual gifts are not provided to you merely for your own gratification, but so the church would be edified, or built up. God has given you gifts that will be a help to your church -- it is up to you to discover them, develop and utilize them, under the direction and cooperation with your spiritual leaders. By doing so, you will glorify God, and be a great help to your church. "Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel" (1 Cor. 14:12).

Both posts were great today. Thanks for sharing. I am back to visiting around. I hope to be writing again soon. And the model of prayer and focus on Missions on Mondays will be my Monday topic. I have battled over using this blog to write about our ministry. Thanks for the reminder to focus on missions on Monday this re-affirms me.
Have a Blessed Week,
Sherry

Thank you for this, Denise. We all have something. Some way that God has made us, which can be used for blessing others. We all know what one of your gifts is: ENCOURAGEMENT!

Amen, sweet sister...that is one way we choose to worship the Lord instead of going to church and wanting our needs met and really church being a person who is focused on worshipping ourselves.

Love you!

God gives us each wonderful gifts. The best part is He also shows us how to walk in them, and gives us opportunity to bless others with our blessings, anywhere we go!

Thanks for sharing!

Blessings Denise...Spiritual gifts... to build up each other in the church and to work together as One Body in Christ. May we each glorify God by using our gifts in this way & not misusing them or using them for our own glory. Thanks for sharing this!
(((hugs))) and enJOY a great week!

Bless you for your visit and I'm glad our families are celebrating so much together in Heaven! I suppose 100 years old is nothing to Abraham or Moses. Thanks for your encouragement each day!
