Thankful Thursday-Rescue

Thank You Lord for rescuing me time after time. You are my ultimate 911, I can always depend upon You to come running to my rescue every time I call. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and though the rivers, they will not overflow you. … For I am the Lord your God ..." (Isaiah 43:2-3a): Amen, so many times in my life, the waters have risen quickly, I have been pulled under, into the deep dark waters. Just as I thought my life was ending, I heard His sweet voice speaking to me. Call out to Me, that is all you have to do, call out My name. When you are in trouble, I will rescue you, just call Me. So, I lift my voice time after time, and I begin to cry like a little child, crying for their daddy. I cry out to my Daddy, help me!! help me!! I cannot do this alone any more, I need You. I am broken in every way, in desperate need of repair. Beaten down physically, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Please lift me up, and carry me for a little while Daddy. Can You hear the cry of my heart? Please rescue me, please. Guess what? My Daddy always hears my heart calling, and comes quickly with His love, comfort, strength, healing, forgiveness, whatever is needed to repair me. He lifts me up, He refuses to let me stay down. Thank You my forever 911 rescuer. I love You beyond measure.

I agree with you, Denise. Our God is just a call away. He is our spiritual 911. (or Jeremiah 33:3)
Happy Thankful Thursday everyone.

Can't imagine any earthly father who may hear his daughter cry out like this and not respond so how much more will our Heavenly Father respond to our cry, and rescue us from our trouble. Loved your hearts cry here - Happy TT!

Sometimes, in panic, we forget that Ultimate 911...when we bend our knees and fold our hands together...He is always near! And I'm glad that He is our place of Refuge. Glory to God! Blessings and love to you sister.

Bless your heart, Denise! So great that when we are so far down and overwhelmed and do not know how to pray and we just call out to Him, He already knows our needs and He answers. Blessed Assurance.

That is just precious, Denise. Thank you for it. I call on His name when I am in trouble too. I wrote a song one night in bed "Whisper His Name" , when asthma was bothering me. I don't have the copyright on it yet.

My Sweet Sister Denise,

Girl, your heart and trust for God always inspire me. I always think of Psalm 91 as my 911 prayer. After reading it through, I feel absolutely on top of the world with Jesus on my side.

As always, awesome post. Hugs.

Hi Denise! Thanks for taking the time ot visit my blog! This is a great post. Sometimes we forget to thank God when we pray. Thanking God is such an important part of asking him for rescue. Like Daniel, when we choose a heart of thankfulness, it touches the heart of God to close the mouth of those lions :)

God Bless your day!
Sarah
