In Other Words Tuesday

Thanks Debbie for sharing such a great quote this week. My answer to this is a great big no. Doing these things are important, and we should all be doing them. But, doing these things is not showing passionate whole hearted love for God. In order to do that, we must be willing to be Jesus in action. We must show love to others, reaching out to those in need. Sharing what we have with those who do not have. Not just talking the talk, but walking the walk. Take up your cross daily, unburden yourself of this world, and be determined to make this world better, until we reach our true home. That my friend, is passionate whole hearted love.

Hmmm...see in my mind I realize only God knows a heart. For someone maybe these three things are truly giving their whole heart to God...it is the most and the best that they can do. I also know that someone can do these things and it is the least they can do and their hearts are FAR from God...I have come to a place of knowing that my heart is the only heart that I can know...and even then God knows it infinitely better...and only He knows what I am called to do for Him and to what I am capable...Each person has their own limitations and own purpose...who am I to say what is wholehearted devotion? I cannot know a heart.
