Focus On Missions

Kacie Josifek
Planning to serve as a nurse at Hope Alive! in Uganda

Ministry Focus

Kacie Josifek has been endorsed by WorldVenture serve as a nurse for Hope Alive!, a relief and development project focused on orphans in Uganda, Africa. Kacie will be helping to meet the physical and spiritual needs of kids, mentors and caregivers in the Hope Alive! program.

With 50 percent of the population in Uganda under age 14, many children are the head caretakers of their households. Many are often unequipped financially, educationally and otherwise to care for several children.

Currently, Hope Alive! does not offer its own medical care, but serves to help children gain access to what is already available. As a result, Kacie will be helping Hope Alive! create a vision for this part of their program, starting with needs assessment and profiling children's current health status and deficiencies.
