Thankful Thursday-

There is a song by James Taylor called how sweet it is to be loved by you. Well, I changed the words a little to express how I feel about my sweet Jesus. Here is my version of how sweet it is to be loved by you.: How sweet it is to be loved by You, how sweet it is to be loved by You. I needed the shelter of someones arms and there You were, I needed someone to understand my ups and downs, and there You were. With sweet love and devotion, deeply touching my emotions. I want to stop and thank You Jesus, I just want to stop and thank You Jesus. How sweet it is to be loved by You, how sweet it is to be loved by You. I close my eyes at night, wondering where would I be without You in my life, You brighten up for me all of my days, with a love so sweet in so many ways. I want to stop, and thank You Jesus, I just want to stop and thank You Jesus. How sweet it is to be loved by You, how sweet it is to be loved by You. Jesus, You are better for me, than I am for myself. Thank You Jesus for making my life so sweet by Your presence. I am so thankful for Jesus, and His sweet Word. Reading my Bible, is like pouring soothing honey all over my heart. Thank You Jesus, I love You.

This is a GREAT post, Denise! I haven't been commenting much lately, life just got so darn busy with the end of the school year, but I've been keeping up with you and continuing to be humbled inspired and challenged by your love for Jesus and your faith in God.

I'm thankful for you.

I think these are better lyrics than the original song...because it came from a "heart of worship"...God bless.

Well I know what we're going to be singing driving down to the retreat! LOL

I LOVE it! But I love you more.

I head out Friday afternoon for PA for the funeral. Please pray for journey mercies. Mike is going with me. I'll be staying until about Wednesday, I think. Michele will come here around the 1st of July for a few days.

"Reading my Bible, is like pouring soothing honey all over my heart." ~ I love that! It's so sad that we live in a world that is in deep need of His love, that He is waiting for them to reach and and take Him, but the refuse and take the false things of the world instead.
